Principals Message
Welcome back to another exciting school year. A very special welcome to our NEW Junior Kindergarten Bulldogs and any students and families new to our St. Joseph’s School community. Our school enrollment is currently over 400 students, making us one of the largest elementary schools in the area. Rest assured that we take our roles and responsibilities as educators very seriously. We are so humbled an honoured that you have chosen St. Joseph’s School and entrusted us with your child’s education.
We are always looking to engage our parent community in the happenings within our school. One way that you, as parents, can become involved is to be part of our School Council. The purpose of school council is to give parents a voice about decisions that impact students and the school. Engaging all stakeholders in school decision making improves student achievement and enhances the accountability of the education system to parents. In addition, caregivers have the opportunity to bring forward their views on issues that are important to them. Principals consult with and respond to school council about any impending changes or issues that come up at school. If you are willing to be part of our school council, please feel free to contact the school directly. School council nomination forms can also picked up at the office.
We look forward to continuing to develop a strong partnership with all Catholic stakeholders! Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions or concerns.
Yours in Catholic Education,
Mr. Hart,
Principal
